Starting therapy can be a life-changing decision.

Emotional upsets affect everyone and although it can feel overwhelming and painful at times, change is possible. I know - hard to imagine when you're currently feeling stuck, frustrated and dis-empowered.
I get it. I've been there and it's such a difficult place to be in.
No matter where you currently find yourself; confused, emotionally exhausted, just plain "off", trust me, I know both personally and professionally that it's possible to move through the ebb+flow of life and to actually use these moments to gain clarity, strength and wisdom moving forward. It's possible to piece all the fragmented parts of yourself back together and align yourself with the life you actually envision for yourself.

Psychotherapy is an exploration of the Self. It allows you to peel back the layers and better understand how you relate to yourself and others and the influence that has in how you move through the world. Working with me, we will explore your current day challenges, heal old wounds and trace the self-destructive patterns and behaviours that have emerged over time so that you may replace them with more empowered and purposeful beaviours and beliefs that actually support you in moving towards the life you've always dreamed about for yourself.

Finding a therapist can be a daunting task. Here are some things you might consider:

-
Choose a therapist whose philosophy and approach is in line with your own.
-
Have a few questions prepared for your initial conversation so that you can assess how your therapist responds to you and find out if you feel like there's a connection.
-
Trust your intuition when it comes to deciding who is a good fit for you.
-
